• Expert Session on Start ups and Innovations in the Drone Industry: The department of Mechatronics and the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) organized “Innovations and Start-ups in the Drone Industry by Mr.Mihir Kedar,Founder,CMO,CTO Cerebrospark Innovations” on 26th Aug 2024 at MMIT, Lohgaon, Pune. IIC hosted a session for students and faculties from different departments to build awareness about the latest technological advancements, business models, and market trends in the rapidly evolving drone sector.

• Expert Lecture on Robotics Automation: The Department of Mechatronics Engineering organized an expert lecture on “Robotics Automation,” on 18 March 2025 aimed at providing students with an in-depth understanding of the current advancements and practical applications of robotics in automation. The session was delivered by “Ms. Srushti Bagawe”, a Control Engineer at Probotix Control System India Pvt Ltd, who shared her expertise and experience in the robotics field.

• Expert lecture on Advanced Industrial Automation: The Department of Mechatronics Engineering organized an expert lecture on “Advanced Industrial Automation” on 18 March 2025 to provide students and faculty with insights into the latest trends and technologies in the field of industrial automation. The session was delivered by Mr. Saurabh Ahelleya, who is currently working as the Manager of Learning and Development at Probotix Control System India Pvt Ltd. 

• Expert lecture on Product Design and Development: The Department of Mechatronics Engineering organized an expert lecture on "Product Design and Development" to provide students and faculty with insights into the latest trends and technologies in the field of Product Design. The session was delivered by Mr. Akshay Pund, who is currently working as the Product Manager at CoreCentric Solutions  India Pvt Ltd.
